Flute & Piccolo instructors:
Amy Yu-min Tsai – M.M.
Amy Yu-min Tsai is an accomplished flutist from Taiwan. She received her Master of Music degree in flute performance from The Catholic University of America in D.C. Currently she is pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts Degree in flute performance at Claremont Graduate University.
Yu-min has been giving public performances, teaching and judging in Taiwan and US. She has many successful solo flute recitals and chamber music concerts in National Recital Hall of Taipei and Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York.
In addition to performing, Yu-min was the flute and piccolo player of Taipei Civic Symphony Orchestra. She taught flute at several elementary music schools and in Music Departments of high schools in the greater Taipei area before she returned to the U.S.
